It occurs far less often when I am not live on stream. This has been going on very rarely for a long time, although it became much more frequent with the introduction of the newest patch. I thought I was supposed to get e-mail notifications when I got a reply but I didn't. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Let me know if you if you require more information. Why does this keep happening? Is the game's graphics too powerful? Is my computer hardware (motherboard, CPU, GPU, etc.) not strong enough to run both the game AND a live stream show? What can I do to stop this from happening? Please advise.
I've attempted to alter my graphics settings to try to combat these crashes, but to no avail. I've even had a couple instances where my computer has frozen completely, I get a blue error screen and my computer is forced to restart. Other times, I get an error message, like this:Īn unexpected error has occurred. Sometimes the game will simply close on its own, without warning. It seems to be more prevalent whenever my character is in a highly populated area, such as a Raid or Eureka, or any place where people flock to obtain new content early on after release. I'm a streamer on Twitch that plays Final Fantasy XIV, and the game has been frequently closing or crashing while I am streaming.
